Dr. Selim is the Director of Research and Development and QA/QC Programs for PHL Associates (Davis, CA) and has accumulated over 20 years of experience--both national and international--in applied veterinary medicine research. Prior to his work with PHL, he worked as a Scientific Officer for the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute and the Central Veterinary Disease Investigation Laboratory, and as a PI of a project for the International Center for Diarrheal Disease Research, Bangladesh. As a graduate student he worked in the Dairy Food Safety Laboratory at the University of California, Davis. His current projects at PHL include the development of a new mastitis vaccine for dairy cows through a multi-disciplinary approach in veterinary product development, on-site manufacturing and regulatory contracts.
