Raghu Cavale has over 27 years of experience spanning various industry sectors. Presently, he heads the India business for Infosys, an India-based provider of business consulting, technology, engineering and outsourcing services, headquartered in Bangalore, India. He is responsible for strategy, client acquisition, project delivery and ultimately the Production & Logistics for Infosys, India. Raghu leads many of the Transformation projects transforming India as a nation in various fields of Energy, Taxation, and Banking and Financial inclusion. Raghu is a “hands-on” manager and is also a part of many policy forums and governing bodies. He worked with other experts on a seminal report commissioned by Government of India entitled: “IT in the Power Sector.” He is presently serving on a committee preparing another report for the Government of India entitled: “IT in the Transport Sector.” Raghu teaches a full credit course on Smart Grids and is also a member of the Standards body of the Government of India and serves as chairman of numerous committees and panels. Prior to his current position with Infosys, Raghu worked in the field of Energy, Manufacturing and Consulting. He lived and worked extensively in the USA. His personal passion is economic empowerment and he is a part of many NGO’s and charitable organizations. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
