Ashwin Aravindakshan, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Management
Dr. Aravindakshan is Assistant Professor of Management at the Graduate School of Management, UC Davis. He earned his PhD in Management from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2007. His research explores firm advertising and communication strategies; develops optimal resource (budget) allocation schemes; improves customer relationship management; and, helps firms develop plans for new product introductions. Apart from his research interests, he has also worked with a number of companies, including a couple of Fortune 500 firms. The projects ranged from creating systems to better target customers for more efficient marketing intervention mechanisms to deriving more efficient and profitable resource allocation rules for firms to manage their communication expenditure.
